Its scent is sweet and woody, sometimes reminiscent of sandalwood. Aromatherapy Properties: (Uses) Also known as Red cedar, it is from the family Cupressaceæ. Although this tree is from this family and not from the family Pinaceæ, it is still called Virginia Cedar. Its scent is sweet and woody, sometimes reminiscent of sandalwood. Care should be taken that garments do not directly touch wood treated with Cedarwood essential oil. Blends well with: Bergamot, Cinnamon Bark, Frankincense, Rose Absolute (Morocco), Sandalwood Australian Organic, and Rosemary Silky Scents Essential Oils are used in Aromatherapy applications and recipes!
