    The wick burnt so fast that now it’s down to a tiny stub that doesn’t produce enough heat to melt the sides, creating a hole that’s leaving about 40% of the candle unburnt.

    I burnt a candle over the course of 2 work days and it burnt for a total of 12 hours before petering out, so the 200 hours it advertises didn't work out to that. If they all burnt 12 hours, multiple it by the 8 candles, and you get 96 hours.
