    I purchased two of these candles and you can smell the lavender scent before you even take it out of the box! They are quite potent. They are packaged beautifully, each candle in its own gift box. I use these on the second story of a two story townhouse and you can smell the scent all the way down to the first floor. The only hiccup is that the wicks can be a little hard to light. I usually go through two matches before all three wicks ignite. That won’t stop me from purchasing more candles though.

    first off I went with a more expensive candle thinking the aroma aspect would be great. BUT no where near the truth. It was as if there was no scent at all. I was super disappointed with the product. So I contacted the seller to let them know o would be returning these items and that I would expect a full refund. Well its been 6 days and still have not heard a word from them. SO A WORD TO THE WISE BUY SOMEWHERE ELSE.

    I bought this set once I'd finally finished an 8 oz candle I'd bought from my local grocery store - I like to go through them one at a time, using them as fully as a can, since some don't burn down all the way. Two things caught my eye about this listing in particular:
    - I was looking for a lavender scent that wouldn't be too overpowering, and the current reviews gave me confidence that it would fit my needs.
    I don't tend to buy lavender candles from chain stores because whatever ingredients they use make the scent overpowering, to where when I give them the ol’ sniff test in the store I just know burning them would give me a headache. I haven’t had any such issues with this candle - it burns cleanly, especially with a little help towards the end of the candle of some aluminum foil wrapped around the jar, with a scent that fills up the room you’re in but not far beyond that, which is exactly what I was hoping for since I live with family that might not be as keen on the smell as I am! The smell also gradually fades within an hour or two, so it’s there when you need it to be and gone once you’ve had enough.
    - The inclusion of a mini candle and pillow spray was very generous, and when other candles with similar scents and similar prices only offered the one 8 oz container, I honestly felt like there was nothing to lose from trying this one instead, and actually more to gain. The pillow spray is strong, but dissipates in smell throughout the night, so it’s perfect for spritzing right before bed and waking up to no lingering scent that might make you feel less refreshed in the morning.
    I haven’t used the mini candle yet, as I’m still burning through the 8 oz (with about 10% left to go, I’d say - if anything my only quibble is that it smells so good I like to leave it burning longer) but it has just as strong a scent as the wax of the 8 oz, and I’m looking forward to when I can burn it, too!

    Overall I’d say I’m extremely satisfied with this set! Shipping was fast, the cardboard packaging was simple and cute, and no items were damaged in transit for me as some other reviewers experienced. Once I’ve burned through the candles in this set I’ll definitely keep it in mind on my next search!
