Yes they come in bags that look like jars. If you look at the pictures for more than a second you'll see that. These are the same sized bags you'll find at the dollar store for the same price for 1, and lower quality. It can leave some residue behind, but this is expected with any pink himalayan salt based products. It's a super easy rinse, especially if you bathe/shower every day. It doesn't stain if left just for a day until next soak/shower.
